Carolina Jasmine is an evergreen perennial climbing vine with reddish-brown stems and yellow flowers.
In Florida this vine is easy to see because it blooms from December to April, often when not much else is in flower, and the blooms can completely cover a tree or a fence. The yellow flowers have a delightful light scent, reminiscent of baby powder, but they are extremely poisonous – even the nectar is toxic.
