Blue curls are common throughout Florida. This plant is a member of the mint family and is found in a variety of dry habitats and disturbed sites.
Blue curls produce masses of small, intensely blue flowers from early summer to fall. Though individual flowers stay open only for a morning, new ones open every day.
Blue curls are mostly bee pollinated--they are not great butterfly attractants.
